Functional Decoration Molding

FUNCTIONAL DECORATION MOLDING – Is the process of printing a distorted version of an image onto a sheet of plastic and vacuum forming the sheet on a mold so that specific areas of the printed image appear in corresponding areas of the resulting three-dimensional finished part. This technology allows integrated graphics directly adhered to the formed component without the use of labels or decals. It also allows lower volume custom color variations to be produced by means of vacuum forming on the same tool.
